Bio-
Various experiences in UK allowed him to deepen his understanding of electronic music, especially ‘broken beatz’, post-rave culture and dubstep, but his productions are based on a minimalist sound research with many melodic additions, typical of ambient and IDM.
The first Ep ‘Suburban Turntablism‘ (2007), has been promoted by several European netlabels (Futurekomp, Pinkpube, Taktalsmittel) and, afterwards, has been distributed in digital by Nuhar Records (Genova).
‘Fondle‘, the track naming the last Ep released by Helvet Underground (Switzerland – 2009), appears on ‘Broadcast‘, a compilation distributed by Cinoci Records (UK) and has been presented @ ‘London Glitch Night‘ (August 2008 – ‘The Vibe Bar‘, Brick Lane, London).
He took part in some of the most important underground gigs of electronic music: LPM2010 @ Brancaleone (Rome), ‘Flussi Digital Transition 2010‘ (Teatro Carlo Gesualdo – Avellino), Kernel Festival /011 (Villa Tittoni Traversi, Desio – Milano) and ‘X-Bass electronic festival’ @ CSOA Officina99 (Naples), just to name a few.
He played in many performing events supported by VJ Raster, author of some KEIN’s videoclips and with whom he presented ‘Cinematic Fondle – Experimental Live Cinema‘ @ 2010′ edition of ‘Live Performers Meeting‘ (Brancaleone – Rome). He also performed in some contemporary art experiments – ‘bESTIARIO ’09‘ (roma europa festival), ‘IO Project ’09‘ (Macchiagodena – Isernia) and ‘Poetiche Nomadi‘ @ ‘museo laboratorio ex manifattura tabacchi‘ (Città Sant’Angelo – Pescara).
In September 2010 he performed in Genève (Switzerland) where he presented some new upcoming works which are going to be released by Helvet Underground in 2012. KEIN has been selected among more than 250 artists from 39 different countries worldwide to perform @ Kernel Festival /011 (Villa Tittoni Traversi, Desio – Milano). At the moment – KEIN – is also part of Vodkatronik SoundLab, an ambitious ElectroAcoustic music project.
